With a license, you can operate jet skis, motorboats, and most recreational boats in Masuria and other bodies of water in Poland. To take the motorboat operator’s exam, you must be at least 14 years old; however, to operate motorboats with a power output exceeding 60 kW (80 KM), you must be at least 16 years old.

How much horsepower do jet skis have?

Modern personal watercraft, such as Yamaha and Sea-Doo, offer a wide range of power options:

• 60–110 KM – recreational models, ideal for beginners,
• 130–180 KM – sports scooters,
• 200–300 KM – the most powerful vessels, reaching speeds of over 100 km/h.

Operating costs depend on the model and style of cruising. In 2027:

• Average fuel consumption: 8–20 l/h,
